MASTER CLASSES

One of the primary goals of the Charlottesville Jazz Society is to help with the education of young music students by introducing them to professional jazz muscians.  Over the last several years we have sponsored master classes within our community by bringing visiting jazz musicians into the classroom to work with and to inspire students.  Below is a list of our series of past master classes.  If you are a parent or a music teacher in our community please get in touch with us to find out more about upcoming opportunities.

Master classes held during the 2010 school year were funded in part by the Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews Band in the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF).   Our sincere thanks to the Dave Matthews Band.
